What Is Western Window Systems?

Western Window Systems is a Phoenix-based manufacturer specializing in large-format aluminum windows and doors designed for indoor-outdoor living.

Western Window Systems — Authorized Dealer in Orange County, CA

Their products are a staple of modern and contemporary architecture throughout Southern California — particularly in Orange County, where open-plan homes and indoor-outdoor living spaces are a design priority.

What sets Western Window Systems apart is their focus on moving glass walls and large-panel sliding systems. Their aluminum frames are engineered for spans and panel sizes that standard window and door manufacturers don't offer, making them the go-to choice for architects, custom home builders, and homeowners who want to remove the barrier between interior living space and an outdoor patio, pool deck, or courtyard.

All products are manufactured in the United States, NFRC and AAMA certified, and tested for air, water, and structural performance.

Western Window Systems Products We Carry

Series 600 Multi-Slide Door

The Series 600 Multi-Slide Door is Western Window Systems' flagship product and one of the most specified moving glass wall systems in Southern California residential construction. Large glass panels glide on sealed stainless-steel ball bearing rollers and stack or pocket to create a full-width opening — completely eliminating the wall between inside and outside.

Series 600 Sliding Glass Door

A single-track architectural patio door available in two, three, or four-panel configurations. Panels up to 12 feet tall with a maximum of 60 square feet. The Series 600 Sliding Glass Door features the same narrow profile and stainless-steel roller hardware as the multi-slide system, with a simpler track configuration suited to smaller openings. Available in bi-parting configurations where both sides slide to the center.

Series 600 Window Wall & Fixed Windows

The Series 600 Window Wall is a fixed glazing system that pairs directly with the multi-slide and sliding doors for a fully integrated glass wall assembly. Mulled combinations of fixed windows, operable windows, and sliding doors create seamless, frameless glass wall installations. Panels up to 70 square feet in nearly any configuration.

Series 600 Multi-Slide Window

The same rolling glass panel technology as the multi-slide door, configured as a window rather than a floor-to-ceiling opening. A distinctive alternative to standard operable windows in living rooms, kitchens, and bar areas where a wide opening is desired without a full-height door.

Series 670 Hinged Windows

Single and casement-style aluminum windows that mull directly to the Series 600 door and window wall systems. Allows a mixed installation of operable and fixed glazing within a single continuous frame assembly.

Series 900 Hinged Doors

Architectural aluminum hinged doors in single, double, and with sidelite configurations. Designed to complement the Series 600 system with matching profiles and finish options. Available in in-swing and out-swing configurations.

Series 2600 Aluminum-Clad Multi-Slide Wood Door

A premium version of the Series 600 Multi-Slide Door with a wood interior and aluminum exterior. Inside, panels can be stained or painted to match interior millwork. Outside, the aluminum cladding is durable and low-maintenance. The right choice for projects where the warmth of wood is desired on the interior without the maintenance requirements of an all-wood system.

Series 9500 Bi-Fold Door

Western Window Systems' bi-fold door system folds panels accordion-style against one or both jambs for a fully open configuration. Unlike a multi-slide system, bi-fold doors create a completely clear opening with no panel stacking on the exterior. A popular choice for indoor-outdoor bar areas and entertainment spaces.

Frame Options & Finishes

Western Window Systems products are available in two frame types:

Standard aluminum — strong, slim, and low-maintenance. The most common choice for Southern California's mild climate.

Thermally broken aluminum — an insulated aluminum frame that significantly reduces heat transfer, improving energy performance. Recommended for east, south, and west-facing installations in Orange County where solar heat gain is a consideration.

Finishes are available in anodized aluminum or a wide range of painted colors including standard and custom options. Western Window Systems can match nearly any architectural color specification.

Why Buy Western Window Systems Through All American Door?

Frequently Asked Questions:

Western Window Systems

Western Window Systems is best known for their Series 600 Multi-Slide Door — a large-panel moving glass wall system that stacks or pockets to create full-width indoor-outdoor openings. They are one of the most specified brands in contemporary Southern California residential architecture for this type of installation.
A sliding glass door typically has two panels on a single track — one fixed, one sliding. A multi-slide door has multiple panels that all move, stacking or pocketing to create a much wider opening. The Series 600 Multi-Slide Door can span openings of 30 feet or more, while a standard sliding glass door is typically limited to 12–16 feet.
Series 600 Multi-Slide Door panels can be up to 12 feet tall with a maximum of 70 square feet per panel. The system can be configured with almost any number of panels, making very wide openings possible. Contact us at (714) 680-8999 to discuss sizing for your specific opening.
Yes — standard aluminum frames perform well in Orange County's mild coastal climate. For homes in hotter inland areas such as Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, or areas with significant east or west sun exposure, thermally broken aluminum frames offer meaningfully better energy performance by reducing heat transfer through the frame.
Yes — Western Window Systems products are compatible with motorized automation systems. The design, purchase, and installation of automation are handled by trusted third-party integration specialists. Ask us about automation options when you request your quote.
Yes — the Series 600 Multi-Slide Door is available in a 90-degree corner configuration, where panels from two adjacent walls meet at a corner post that can be removed to create a fully open corner. This is one of the most dramatic indoor-outdoor design moves available and a popular feature in custom Orange County homes.
